Cookie Policy
What cookies we set, and why.
Last updated: January 2026
A "cookie" is a small text file your browser stores at our request. This page explains the cookies we set on adsenseready.io and its subdomains. We try to keep this list short and concrete.
What are cookies?
A "cookie" is a small text file your browser stores at our request so it can be retrieved later. Cookies are a standard, decades-old web technology — they are not spyware, and they cannot run code on your device. The cookies we use fall into two broad categories:
Session cookies
Temporary cookies that exist only while your browser is open. They expire when you close the browser. We use these to keep you signed in during a single visit.
Persistent cookies
Cookies that remain on your device for a set period (our single sign-in cookie persists for 30 days). They let the site remember you across visits. You can clear them at any time via your browser settings.
1. First-party essential cookies
We use a single first-party cookie to remember that you are signed in. Without this cookie, you would have to re-authenticate on every page load. The cookie expires 30 days after your last visit; you can clear it by signing out.
2. Session state
When you sign in via Google or GitHub, the OAuth flow stores a short-lived state token in a first-party cookie to prevent cross-site request forgery. The state token is discarded as soon as the OAuth flow completes (within seconds).
3. We do not use analytics cookies
We do not use Google Analytics, Plausible, Fathom, or any third-party analytics service that would set tracking cookies. We track aggregate feature usage server-side from our own request logs; that data does not use cookies.
4. We do not use advertising cookies
We do not place advertising cookies. We do not run ad networks. We do not retarget you across other sites.
5. Third-party cookies
When you sign in via Google or GitHub, those providers may set their own cookies on the OAuth pages. Those cookies are governed by the providers' own privacy policies, not by us. We do not control them.
7. Changes
We will update this Cookie Policy when we add, remove, or change any cookies. Material changes will be announced by email at least 14 days before they take effect.
